Jeff Seckendorf and Eric Mofford first met on the feature film FINDING HOME. They teamed together on the films, THE CRUX, directed by Seckendorf and starring Willie Garson and Misha Collins and THE SACRIFICE starring Chris Mulkey and Molly Quinn. Mofford produced both films.
Jeff spent two decades as an instructor and member of the master faculty at the International Film and Television Workshops in Rockport, Maine where he taught almost every cinematography and lighting class The Workshops' offered. Mofford also began teaching producing and production courses there, and they soon formed One On One Film Training, a program offering individual training to emerging directors, producers and cinematographers.
After recently wrapping the live action portion of Electronic Arts video game, NEED FOR SPEED, on which Jeff was the Director of Photography and Eric produced, they decided to join their unique production backgrounds for commercial, music video, corporate, and dramatic productions.
Jeffrey Seckendorf
Director/Cameraman
Jeffrey Seckendorf has been making movies and commercials for over twenty-five years. Beginning his career in the 1970’s as a stills photographer, he went on to direct and shoot commercials in New York and Los Angeles. He has photographed and/or directed commercials for Pepsi, Nabisco, The NYC Ballet, Saranac Beer, Kaiser Permanente, Connecticut Lottery, Showtime, The Movie Channel, and many more. His music video credits include, among others, Waylon Jennings, Ricky Van Shelton, Prairie Oyster, and Sweethearts of the Rodeo.
Jeff received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for his silky, black and white photography on JUDY BERLIN, the winner of the 1999 Sundance award for Best Director. The wide screen epic, FINDING HOME opened theatrically in the summer of 2005 and received Best Cinematography awards at the Rome International Film Festival and the Tiburon Film Festivals. Jeff also the live action photography on the video game, NEED FOR SPEED.
Jeff is a technical Scuba diver and Scuba instructor, commercial pilot, competition aerobatic pilot, and Certificated Flight Instructor. He is also an accomplished ice and rock climber.
Eric Mofford
Producer/Director
Eric Mofford is a producer, writer and director who has been involved in more than 50 film, television and on-line productions as well as numerous music videos, including Aerosmith, Sheryl Crow, and Alan Jackson. He has worked as an Assistant Director and Production Manager on over 30 feature films and television programs including 24, CLOCKWATCHERS, KALIFORNIA and EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION.
Eric produced four feature films, the FX series BLACK. WHITE., the IFC comedy series, MINOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF JACKIE WOODMAN and the 13-part PBS documentary series, SENIOR YEAR. He wrote and directed projects for Disney Interactive, Saban Entertainment, The Discovery Channel, Image America, BrandU, United Way, the Atlanta Project, Georgia Institute of Technology and Crawford Communications.
Mofford's dramatic blues film, TRAVELIN' TRAINS, aired nationally on A&E and won a dozen national and international film festival awards including the CINE Golden Eagle.
Born in Stoneham, Massachusetts, a graduate of Emerson College with a BFA in film, Eric still considers his best and most challenging work to be raising his two daughters.
